A mixed-media horse composition developed through graphite, ink, wash and layered atmosphere, combining figure drawing with imagined landscape elements.

The main challenge was controlling many different visual elements without making the composition feel random. The horse, moon, sunset, dark structures and abstract textures all had strong personalities, so I had to find a way to make them support one mood instead of competing with each other.

I used the horse as the central anchor and treated the surrounding images as atmospheric fragments. By balancing controlled drawing with loose ink marks, I created contrast between structure and chaos. The warm and cool tones helped separate the layers, while the dark vertical shapes gave the piece weight and depth.
