The challenge

My earlier drawing practice focused mainly on accuracy and finished artwork. The challenge was learning to sketch more quickly and use drawing to explore function, structure and multiple possibilities instead of polishing only one image.

The solution

I broke products and spaces into simple forms, studied references from different angles and developed ideas through repeated sketches and annotations. This allowed me to move from observation to experimentation, and from artistic skill to clear design communication.
